On Sunday 25 May (8 pm) a special event at Giunti Odeon, with the premiere of the documentary offering an intense portrait of the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, on the occasion of his 90th birthday. At the end of the screening the film will be commented by RICHARD GERE (executive producer of the documentary), who will be live streamed with Giunti Odeon, together with Jetsun Pema (sister of the Dalai Lama) and Filippo Scianna (President of the Italian Buddhist Union). In the film, the spiritual leader addresses the audience directly, sharing his wisdom on the pursuit of happiness in the contemporary world. The film combines personal images of the Dalai Lama, historical archive footage and current scenes of the global challenges humanity faces today. The film also explores the Dalai Lama's life and lessons on compassion and inner peace as keys to personal and global well-being.
