A surprising Emir Kusturica delves into the legacy of Jose´ ‘Pepe’ Mujica and finds in him a kindred spirit with which to discuss the meaning of life from a philosophical, political and poetic point of view. Presented at the Venice Film Festival, this is the sweet portrait of a man who throughout his life never stopped fighting to assert his ideals and realise seemingly utopian desires.
