Giunti Odeon presents the acclaimed documentary film dedicated to one of rock music’s greatest talents: Jeff Buckley. A single album, his debut (Grace, 1994), was enough for Jeff Buckley, son of the great Tim Buckley (1947–1975), to make his mark on music history, before his tragic death in the waters of a tributary of the Mississippi at the age of thirty, in 1997. Amy Berg’s film reconstructs his life and artistic journey against the cultural backdrop of 1980s and 1990s New York, drawing on previously unseen footage and testimonies from family members and fellow artists such as Ben Harper and Aimee Mann. Brad Pitt, who had previously expressed a desire to play Buckley in a biopic, is the executive producer.
