The film starring Emma Stone, winner of the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, returns to Giunti Odeon. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, and already winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, Poor Things tells the story of Bella Baxter, a woman who is brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter. Hungry for the worldliness she lacks, Bella elopes with Duncan Wedderburn, a debauched and elegant lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across continents. The film is banned for under 14s.
