Tuesday, November 5th: An Event for Wine and Culture Enthusiasts!

Starting at 5:30 PM, President Giovanni Manetti and Marco Bolasco will introduce the screening of the short film The Legend of the Black Rooster. Following the film, authors Daniele Cernilli and Paolo De Cristofaro will delve into the story, drawing from the pages of their book, Sulle tracce del Gallo Nero (Giunti). After the discussion, guests are invited to join a toast and enjoy a wine tasting buffet, with an opportunity to meet the authors for a book signing session. This is a unique chance to experience the world of wine in an exceptional setting!

Beginning with the founding of the Chianti Classico Wine Consortium in 1924, Daniele Cernilli and Paolo De Cristofaro provide a broad narrative that weaves historical data, documented events, and firsthand accounts into a story of entrepreneurial ventures, often spanning multiple generations. Their work highlights the deep roots of this wine in its homeland and its evolution into one of the finest examples of Italian winemaking today.
