Appointment at GO for the presentation of Oscar Farinetti's latest book: Hai mangiato? (Slow Food Editore).
The author will engage in conversation with Silvio Greco for the occasion.
The Book:
War, love, dreams, anonymous stories, and portraits of famous figures fill the pages of Oscar Farinetti's new book, whose title is inspired by the renowned phrase of Elsa Morante: "The only true expression of love is: 'Have you eaten?'"
Food as care, passion, connection, and moments of sharing—this is the essence found at the tables, in the kitchens, and among the characters of the book. The narrative weaves historical events and slices of everyday life, offering captivating tales and unique portraits. From Michelangelo Pistoletto, Umberto Eco, and Giovanni Treccani to the elders of the Langhe, two brothers, and a waitress dreaming of Marilyn Monroe, Farinetti's pen vividly brings these stories to life.
