Stefano Bollani is an Italian composer, pianist, and singer, also known as a writer, theater actor, and TV host. After earning his conservatory diploma and a brief stint as a session musician in the pop music world, he established himself in jazz, performing on the world’s most prestigious stages and collaborating with some of the greatest musicians.

With Mondadori, he has published Parliamo di musica (2013) and Il monello, il guru, l’alchimista e altre storie di musicisti (2015). In March 2021, together with his wife Valentina Cenni, he created the show Via dei matti numero zero, which aired successfully on Rai3—35 episodes of music featuring many distinguished guests.
