Gus, the son of millionaire Esmond, falls in love with a dancer named Lorelei, whom he intends to marry. As a result, Gus plans to take his beloved to Europe, where the wedding will take place. However, the old Esmond, opposed to this marriage, prevents Gus from leaving. Since the tickets for the ship's journey have already been purchased, Lorelei persuades Gus to give them to her so she can take a trip with her friend Dorothy. During the voyage, the two girls extensively use their charms: they are unaware that the old Esmond has assigned a private detective, Ernie Malone, to follow them and gather evidence that could damage Lorelei's reputation. Ernie, who falls madly in love with Dorothy, manages to take photographs of Lorelei being kissed by a mature Lord. For her part, Lorelei gets the old Don Juan to gift her a precious tiara. In Paris, the two girls run out of money and have to work in a nightclub to make a living. Lorelei is accused of theft by the Lord's wife, who actually stole the tiara to give it to the girl. Lorelei would be in trouble if Ernie didn't intervene on her behalf, forcing the Lord to confess the truth. Meanwhile, Gus arrives unexpectedly, followed by his father, who, charmed by Lorelei's allure, gives his consent to the marriage.
