Venerdì 4/07 - ore 18:30

On the stage of Giunti Odeon, a conversation titled Defining the Meaning of One’s Life will be held with Abbot Bernardo Gianni and authors Bernardo Paoli and Maria Sperotto, on the occasion of the release of their book Qual è il tuo obiettivo? (Giunti Psicologia, 2025).

The Book:

All of life is an attempt to reach goals. But how can we pursue them without sabotaging ourselves? Knowing how to define our goals might seem obvious, yet it requires art, technique, and science—as demonstrated by thousands of scientific studies on goal-setting.

Qual è il tuo obiettivo? is the first book in Italy entirely dedicated to the process of defining goals. In these pages, the authors present the current state of knowledge on goal-setting and offer original solutions to stop self-sabotaging, thanks to well-defined goals.

A good goal must take into account not only our desires but also the surrounding context—and, above all, who we truly are, including our limits, resources, and psychological inclinations.

Qual è il tuo obiettivo? is an essential text for anyone involved in personal development, from psychological coaching to psychotherapy, as well as for trainers and educators. From now on, they can aim for goals that are not just SMART, but also INSPIREMAP, encompassing the ten characteristics that, according to scientific research, make a goal truly effective.
